The central pattern of this plaid represents the skin of the Snake, while, on both sides, we find the sinuous traces left by the reptile. Thanks to these drawings, Guarani children learn from an early age to recognize the presence of a deadly snake. At the sight of one of these patterns in the jungle, they know they must move away to let the animal continue on its way.
